Privacy Policy
FanDeck ("we", "us") builds a cricket companion app: live scores, ball-by-ball commentary, stadium replays, player & team stats, and curated news. This policy explains what we collect to run that, why, and what you can do about it. It's written for a fan, not a lawyer — if anything's unclear, contact us at the address below.
01 Information we collect

We don't collect precise GPS location, payment card details (FanDeck is currently free), or biometric data.
02 How we use it
- Authenticate you via one-time passcode and keep your session secure.
- Personalise scores, stats and news around the teams and players you follow.
- Send live-match and news push notifications you've opted into.
- Diagnose crashes and improve app performance and reliability.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to train third-party advertising profiles.
03 Third parties that process data on our behalf

Each of these providers only receives what it needs to perform its function, under its own security and privacy terms.
04 Data retention & security
Account and preference data is kept for as long as your account is active. Data in transit is encrypted (TLS); production databases sit behind access-controlled infrastructure. If your account is deleted, we remove personal identifiers from our primary systems within 30 days, other than what we're required to retain for legal or security reasons (e.g. fraud logs).
05 Your choices
- Access & export — request a copy of the data linked to your account.
- Correction — update your profile and preferences any time in-app.
- Deletion — request full account deletion from Settings or by emailing us.
- Notifications — control push and email alerts from Settings → Notifications.
06 Children's privacy
FanDeck is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
07 Changes to this policy
We'll update the effective date above when this policy changes, and post material changes inside the app before they take effect.
